The making of an MBA-the PSG way!!!
More than a year since i blogged!!! god, life has been that busy?? it aint that..sometimes,something just strikes your mind , you just want to share with someone, those are the times i feel like blogging.Ok, honestly speaking now ,there isnt any specific topic..so dont look forward thinking i have something serious to share with you guys..its just as informal as it can be and thats why i like blogging.
Ok,my last post was about my IMS friends,before joining PSGIM.now i have a lot of new friends (some close buddies)at this new place at Coimbatore..and i should say ,its a good place to be,though you have just a race course,Brookefields mall(the only mall) and few other places(not an exciting place to be)-anyway we dont have time to hang out in between our schedule...-but it still a good place, that i miss Coimbatore now...last 1 year has been eventful,with exams,presentations,out bound activities,BRIC meet,college functions(WOW -requires special mention.),inter-college festshostel life.....most important being the right hand dislocation which I had at PEGASUS...and totally i would say "time just flew like anything/ our faculty made sure that it flew"..am sure it would be case with anyone doing an MBA and 8 out of 10 people you meet these days would be an MBA...
The crowd is just too different from the crowd I was used to...mainly dominated by tamilians..but it has been an experience being with them,laughing at jokes after some time(most joke requires translation to me in english)......
PSG has been different in its own way..the faculty- making sure we come out of the UG syndrome ,as our director says, Umesh sir -who literally makes us scared about placements(but trust me,if he hadnt done that,we wouldnt have been serious at all..,and i know hes going to do more of this next year, it would help us as the seniors have already shown it)...
PSGIM is definetly doing what is expected of the 2 years a person spends at a B-school..pressurize you to make you prepared for the corporate life ahead and makes you learn numerous subjects(a marketing student shoulnt ask if some finance subject has relevance in his career..just learn!!!!)
It may not be one of the top B-schools of the country,still its good in its own way.If you have potential ,you work hard and you know how to exploit the resources,you gain!!ok,now this looks like someone talking about alma mater after passing out,i still have an year and am just looking forward to it..so am stopping as of now.

i agree! well i m ASHU! well tats natural aparna, last 1 year , wherever or whatever u start thinking with, ends up at the door of psgim! welll, dont know if tats mba all about, and worst thing now to be in a different class, man! u ll definately need little time again to set up with hr, marketing resp!!! i just hope its much better than year 1!
